Ever since I was young, Youtube has been an obsession amongst the adolescence. Instead of following a TV Show or Movie, views can choose to watch very short Youtube clips for their own enjoyment. A lot of time, Youtube watchers can find themselves completely absorbed by the world of Youtube and spend hours watching videos on end. One of my favorite Youtube channels is a young girl (a year younger than me) who blogs about her life, favorite trends and makeup products. Her name is Olivia Giannulli but her blog name is Olivia Jade. Olivia is the daughter of Lori Loughlin who played Aunt Becky on Full House. Often times, Olivia brings in her mom into the blogs by making fun of her mom and doing makeup tutorials on her. I think that this blog is so interesting because Olivia is always so current on everything that is important in the fashion world. Often times, Olivia does makeup and clothing hauls that let the views know exactly what is this latest fashion. When she does these hauls, I am ensured to toon in because they are so interesting. Also, Olivia is very in touch with trying new styles and seeing what works. This is fascinating because she can style certain clothing items that I never would have thought go together. Because she does this, I am able to mix and match my clothes and so I always have something new and inventive to wear. Lastely, Olivia is a good blogger because she is always mindful about being affordable. Of course, she could probably have anything that she could ever want given her famous mother, but chooses to be very practical with the mindset that not everyone lives such a lavish lifestyle. This blog is very interesting and I love tuning in each week in order to see what fun thing she does next.
One of the things I admire most about Olivia Jade is the way that she is able to relate to her audience. As a teen, she knows what they like and what they don't like. It is so important as a blogger to recognize this and to make sure that you give the audience what they want. Just recently, Olivia has partnered up with Sephora to launch a brand new eye shadow pallet that fans will go crazy over. Olivia Jade knows what she's doing.
